Hoddles Creek Pinot Noir 2024

If you love Pinot Noir, the Yarra Valley is one of Australia's great addresses for it and Hoddles Creek is one of the region's most reliable names.
The D'Anna family have been farming this land since 1960, planting vines in 1997 and quietly producing some of the Yarra Valley's most consistently impressive Pinot Noir ever since. Every grape is hand-picked in the cool of the morning, carefully handled from vineyard to bottle, and released unfiltered and unfined. Basically, what's in the glass is exactly what nature and the winemaker intended.
This release is a no-brainer. Fragrant and lively, with red berries, dark cherry, woodsy spice, and a whisper of mint on the nose. The palate is fresh and focused with firm tannins, perfectly threaded acidity, and just enough generosity to make it immediately enjoyable. Pair it with lamb, duck, mushroom risotto, or a good charcuterie board.
"If ever there was a no-brainer Hoddles Creek Pinot release, this one is it." — Campbell Mattinson
