Sourced from a vineyard in Bannockburn with deep silt soils and high-density plantings, this Pinot has a little more depth and structure than many Central Otago examples, while still delivering the purity and precision that Felton Road is famous for.

Dark cherry, blackberry and raspberry sit at the core, with subtle notes of spice, earth and cedar adding extra character. The palate is silky yet powerful, with fine tannins giving the wine shape and length without ever overwhelming the fruit. There's a confidence to this vintage that suggests the vineyard is really hitting its stride. Delicious now with a decant, but those who enjoy cellaring Pinot Noir will be well rewarded over the next 8–12 years.
