Coates The Pinot Noir from the Adelaide Hills is definitely something worth exploring.
This Pinot Noir has been made using grapes sourced from the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills. A slow fermentation with natural yeast has preserved the alluring varietal characters of Pinot Noir. With 12 months maturation one third new French oak adding complexity and suppleness. Bright garnet in colour, the nose provides perfumed cherry and strawberry fruits followed by savoury notes. The light-bodied palate offers delicate forest fruit intermingled with nutmeg and mocha accents.
