Aromas of raspberries and wild strawberries, with hints of earthy forest floor and dark cherry. The flavors are dominated by red fruits and violet, with complex layers of savory herbs. The structured tannins provide a refreshing finish.
The wine is fermented in open vats with indigenous yeast. 25% of the grapes are left as whole bunches to add texture and interest, and 20% is aged in new French barriques. Wild malolactic fermentation and 12 months of maturation on fine lees are completed in barriques for added complexity.
