 The aromas from this wine display classic characteristics of Estate Pinot Noir, with scents of blackcurrants, strawberries, and spice accented by gamey and charry barrel ferment components. This combination creates an impressive, complex array of smells.

The palate is full of blackcurrant and strawberry fruit flavors, with a silky texture and balanced mid-palate. Subtle charry characters and structure are provided by the quality French oak, while firm yet balanced tannins and a tight acid line give the wine a long, lingering finish and aging potential. The light gaminess imparts complexity that will grow with time.
