
Holm Oak Pinot Gris 2024

Holm Oak's Pinot Gris was hand-picked and immediately pressed to tank to minimize skin contact. 20% was wild fermented in used oak barrels and 10% in tank, while the remaining grapes were fermented with aromatic yeast for enhanced aromatics. After two months of aging on lees for a richer mouthfeel, the wine was blended and bottled.
This wine has beautiful, lifted pear, floral and musk characters on the nose with some interesting spicy complexity. Whilst the powerful palate is packed with flavour, it also has added complexity and weight as a result of the wild ferment. The wine finishes with lovely crisp natural acidity.
