Pet Nat (Pétillant Naturel) is one of the oldest styles of sparkling wine, made by bottling the wine before primary fermentation has finished. The result is a naturally sparkling, unfiltered wine with gentle bubbles, vibrant freshness and plenty of texture. This organic Riesling and Marsanne Pet Nat is a bright, modern Australian expression of the style, balancing zesty citrus with a soft, textural palate.
Cloudy golden straw in the glass, it bursts with aromas of candied lime and lemon sherbet, while the palate is lively and juicy with fresh citrus, delicate fizz and a refreshing finish. If you enjoy Prosecco or pét-nat wines with a little more texture and personality, this is a natural next step.

About the Winemaking:
The organically grown Riesling and Marsanne were harvested in the cool of the morning before being whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented in stainless steel. Fermentation was stopped with around 10g/L of residual sugar before bottling under crown seal to finish fermenting naturally. The wine is left on its yeast lees, creating added texture, complexity and the signature character that makes Pet Nat so distinctive.
