Henschke Peggys Hill Riesling 2023

The riesling takes its name from a local landmark, Peggy’s Hill, at the top of the range between Eden Valley and Keyneton. Produced from selected traditional Henschke Eden Valley growers, whose vines are up to 50 years old, growing in low-vigour ancient Cambrian soils at around 500m altitude. The Eden Valley riesling displays exceptional varietal and regional characteristics.

Pale straw in colour with green hues. Vibrant aromas of lime and lemon zest, flowering lavender, white rose and citrus blossom are met by notes of stone-fruit and green peppercorn. An intense and generous palate of concentrated lemon, lime zest and stone-fruit flavours are perfectly balanced with peppercorn spice, pure citrus acidity and a tightly wound core, that leads to a crisp, dry and exquisitely long finish.
