The Mount Langi Billi Billi Shiraz is a real surprise package! For the price it over delivers and could easily sit alongside most $20 Shiraz. It has fine tannins which are supported by bright berry fruit and delicate spice characters. The wine is a medium bodied with good length of palate. Perfect alongside most hearty meals.
Winemaker Notes
Showing rich plum and dark berry fruit alongside spice complexity. Terrific depth of flavour and length. A low yielding year, producing concentrated length of flavour in the wines. A dry, warm summer with a cooler January/February led to a long ripening period and excellent grape maturity. After several difficult years, this was an excellent growing season, with wines consistently showing
“Langi” spiciness, complimenting generous dark berry fruit characters.
