This blend consists of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsault sourced from an organic vineyard in the southern Rhone Valley near Avignon. It offers vibrant scents of violets, red fruits, and liquorice. The palate is medium-bodied, silky, and well-integrated, showcasing juicy red fruits with a touch of spice. The tannins are velvety and balanced by refreshing acidity. Enjoy now or age for up to 3 years.
Lunar Apogé is made in Roquemaure, France, where the Leperchois family has been making wine for centuries. In 1977, Christian Leperchois became a pioneer in his region by converting the estate to a fully organic/biodynamic process. His wine and the winery are certified 100% organic and biodynamic by Demeter Group.
FARMING PRACTICES: Certified biodynamic by Demeter. Dry farmed. No chemicals used (pesticides, fertilizers, additives, etc). Nocturnal harvest by hand to prevent oxidation.
VINIFICATION: Spontaneous, temperature controlled fermentation with native yeasts to preserve primary aromas. Minimally fined or filtered. Sulfites ≤50 mg/L.
