The dry, warm conditions created a powerfully intense wine with prominent aromas of gravel, red fruit, eucalyptus, cocoa, wet mint, black currant, and oak spice. On the palate, the generous dark fruit flavors are complemented by bright acidity and fine grain tannin, culminating in a lingering finish of red fruit and earthy spice.
