A'bunadh, which translates to 'of the origin' in Gaelic, is exclusively matured in Oloroso ex-sherry butts. This malt whisky is produced without the use of modern-day chill filtering methods or the addition of water, resulting in its natural cask-strength. Its deep, rich amber color sets the stage for a nose filled with mixed spices, praline, and spiced orange, all in perfect harmony with the rich, deep notes of Oloroso sherry. On the palate, you will discover vibrant flavors of orange, black cherries, dried fruit, and ginger, all highlighted by dark bitter chocolate and enhanced with sherry and oak.
