In the Adelaide Hills, the season provided optimal long, cool ripening conditions, resulting in superior fruit development. Thanks to the full soil moisture profiles and mild, dry weather in September, the entire region experienced a uniform budburst. Though flowering and fruit set were delayed by chilly conditions in October and November, the vintage season was characterized by mild, dry weather and cool nights, resulting in wines with elegant structure and enhanced flavor profiles.
