In the Adelaide Hills, the season for vintage 2022 was welcomed for the long, cool ripening conditions which was ideal for fruit development. Full soil moisture profiles and mild and dry conditions in September encouraged an even budburst across the region although cool and some cold conditions throughout October and November delayed flowering and fruit set. Conditions during vintage were mild and dry with cool nights producing wines of elegant structure and enhanced flavour.
