The Barossa has always been the perfect place for Semillon to thrive. This white wine grape was one of the first varieties planted by settlers 160 years ago. Today, thanks to the Mediterranean climate and dedicated farming practices, the region's heritage of low-yielding Semillon vineyards still flourishes. Utilizing an age-old Madeira clone with robust, pink skin, commonly found in the Barossa, Woodcutter's Semillon offers a savory taste reminiscent of white wines from southern and central France.

The wine boasts a natural acidity and medium body, perfectly suited to the region. Experience the lifted aromas of fresh citrus fruits such as Amalfi lemon and kaffir lime, balanced by a delicate floral perfume of citrus flowers and lemon myrtle. On the palate, tangy acidity gives way to a clean finish. You can enjoy this wine as a young and fresh drink, or let it age for up to 15 years to bring out notes of brioche and lemon curd pastry.
