This 2021 Grant Burge Filsell Shiraz has a deep, dark, and dense appearance with a crimson hue. The brilliant and bright bouquet boasts concentrated and lifted red and dark cherry notes, complemented by subtle dried spices of cinnamon and nutmeg.
On the palate, star anise, juniper, and hazelnut flavors flow over dark cherry and continue with notes of chocolate espresso. The dense, tight tannins impart direction and a smooth, silky texture that leads to a long and satisfying finish. Recommended for cellaring, but can also be enjoyed now.
