This cuvée La Montagne is amazing for a simple red regional wine with grapes coming from the top of the hill of Maranges. Round, smooth with plenty of fruit, limited acidity and a medium body.
Bright ruby in the glass, on the nose the aromas of wild red fruits, flowers and refined spices, open the way to balsamic and mineral suggestions. Shows earthy mushroom and cherry notes. Elegant red, to be paired with a duck breast with berries.
