A classic Soave that brings to mind the customs of past generations and presents a revival of forgotten scents and tastes. Made from vines of old age and southern exposure, utilizing previously used barrels and minimal intervention. The taste profile is opulent, intricate, and multifaceted, followed by a lingering nutty finish. Over time, these flavors develop into even more elaborate notes of pollen and dried florals.
In the 1960s Giuseppe Inama, purchased parcels of old vine garganega on the volcanic soils of Soave Classico. His son Stefano developed the fabulously textural style of the Inama whites, with fermentation in stainless steel and small French oak for garganega and sauvignon blanc. With his sons Matteo, Luca and Alessio, Stefano recognised the untapped potential of near by Colli Berici, for the production of elegant, savoury reds from Bordeaux varieties, (cabernet, merlot and carmenère).
