Aller Trop Loin Where’s My Rabbit is a playful, skin-contact white wine that invites you to chase flavour down the rabbit hole. This textural co-ferment of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris comes from Australia’s Yarra Valley, and is zesty and full of of bright acidity. A touch of skin contact gives the wine its beautiful natural haze and a gentle tannic grip, grounding the tropical, zesty notes of Sauvignon Blanc. Pinot Gris adds layers of orchard fruit, subtle spice, and savoury depth, creating a wine that’s as complex as it is easy to enjoy.
About Aller Trop Loin wines:
Aller Trop Loin began with an accidental “de-koshering” by Mark Sztar at Six Parallels South. When the wine took off, he leaned in, creating a small range of deliberately non-kosher wines. Sourced from vineyards in the Yarra Valley, Bendigo, and Heathcote, the wines include both single varietals and blends. All his wines are: “unoaked, unfined, unfiltered, and unholy.”
