This wine shines best in a relaxed, multi-hour dining setting. Because it has bright acidity and fine, powdery tannins, it cuts beautifully through rich food. It is perfect for a Sunday family roast or a long afternoon Italian lunch featuring slow-cooked ragù, mushroom risotto, or wood-fired pizzas.

The 2021 Babo Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is a standout vintage—combining fresh, early-drinking character with structural depth and vivid energy. Aromas of dark cherry, wild strawberry, and plum blend with classic Nebbiolo notes of dried rose, tar, cinnamon spice, and orange peel. Medium-bodied with crunchy acidity and a fleshy mid-palate, the assertive, powdery tannins deliver a peppery, ferrous finish that calls for food pairing.
